2024 Magyar Kupa Final
The 2024 Magyar Kupa final decided the winners of the 2023–24 Magyar Kupa, the 81st season of Hungarian premier football cup, the Magyar Kupa. The match was played on 15 May 2024 at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest between Paks and Ferencváros. Paks had won the match 2–0 after extra time, securing the Magyar Kupa for the first time in their history. Teams Venue The final has been originally played at the rebuilt Puskás Aréna since it opened, in 2020. This final was the fifth Magyar Kupa final in this stadium. The 2023–24 Magyar Kupa (English: ''Hungarian Cup'') was the 84th season of Hungary's annual knock-out cup football competition. MOL (company), MOL was the sponsor of the tournament, thus the sponsored name is MOL Magyar Kupa. The winners qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League#First qualifying round, 2024–25 UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. Paksi FC, Paks won the cup on 15 May 2024 (their first Magyar Kupa win), defeating Ferencvárosi TC, Ferecváros 2–0 in the final. Format The Magyar Kupa is played as a knockout tournament. All rounds are played as one-off matches. The final are traditionally held in the Puskás Aréna, Budapest.
