2024 International League T20
The 2024 International League T20 (also known as DP World International League T20 2024 or DP World ILT20 2024 for sponsorship reasons) was the second season of the International League T20, a professional Twenty20 cricket league in the United Arab Emirates, organised by the Emirates Cricket Board. The tournament was played from 19 January 2024 and the final was held on 17 February 2024. Gulf Giants were the defending champions. The matches were granted List A status by the ICC for fielding less domestic players as stipulated. United Arab Emirates Cricket Board is the governing body of certain cricket activities in United Arab Emirates. It is United Arab Emirates's representative at the International Cricket Council and is an Associate Member and has been a Member of that body since 1990. It is also a Member of the Asian Cricket Council. On 21 July 2016, UAE cricket took a step towards "full professionalism", with the Emirates Cricket Board granting two-year central contracts to eight of its players. In June 2018, ECB announced the first ever T20 franchise league in UAE, scheduled to start later that year after the T10 tournament. The International League T20 (ILT20) is a 20-over cricket tournament to be played in the United Arab Emirates. The first edition of the tournament was originally scheduled to take place during January and February 2022, but it was rescheduled to take place from January 2023, with six teams competing. In June 2022, the league was formally named the International League T20, with the dates for the first season also being confirmed. Overview Franchises owners from the Indian Premier League (IPL), such as Knight Riders Group, Reliance Industries, GMR Group along with Lancer Capitals and Adani Group were announced as owners of the teams. Tom Kohler-Cadmore (born 19 August 1994) is an English professional cricketer who plays for Yorkshire. He is a right-handed batsman who also bowls right-arm off spin. Nicholas Pooran
Nicholas Pooran (; born 2 October 1995) is a Trinidadian cricketer who currently plays for the West Indies cricket team in limited overs cricket and a former captain of the limited-overs formats. Colin Munro
Colin Munro (born 11 March 1987) is a South-African born New Zealand international cricketer, who plays limited overs formats of the game. Sunil Philip Narine (born 26 May 1988) is a Trinidadian cricketer who plays internationally for the West Indies. Paul Farbrace (born 7 July 1967) is the Head Coach of Sussex and a former professional cricketer. He is also a former assistant coach to the England cricket team. Robindra Ramnarine "Robin" Singh (born 14 September 1963) is an Indian former cricketer and cricket coach. He represented India in one Test and 136 ODIs between 1989 and 2001 as an all-rounder. Andrew Flower (born 28 April 1968) is a Zimbabwean cricket coach and a former cricketer. As a cricketer, he captained the Zimbabwe national cricket team.
