The 2024 IIHF Women's World Championship will be the 23rd edition of the IIHF World Women's Championship, an international ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF), contested in Utica, New York, United States from 3 to 14 April 2024 at the Adirondack Bank Center. Venue Participants ;Group A * * * * * ;Group B * * * * – ''Promoted from Division IA Group A in 2023'' * – ''Promoted from Division IA Group A in 2023'' Format The top five teams from the previous tournament were placed in Group A and the teams that finished sixth through eighth in the 2023 tournament, plus two teams promoted from 2023 Division IA, will be placed in Group B. The 2023 IIHF Women's World Championship will be an international ice hockey tournament organized by the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) which will be contested in Brampton, Canada from 5 to 16 April 2023, at the CAA Centre.
