Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) is the shortest form of women's international cricket. A women's Twenty20 International is a 20 overs-per-side cricket match between two of the International Cricket Council (ICC) members. The first Twenty20 International match was held in August 2004 between England and New Zealand, six months before the first Twenty20 International match was played between two men's teams. The ICC Women's World Twenty20, the highest-level event in the format, was first held in 2009. In April 2018, the ICC granted full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the eighth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It is scheduled to be held in South Africa, from 10 to 26 February 2023. The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup East Asia-Pacific Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. The East Asia-Pacific qualifier tournament was hosted at the Vanuatu Cricket Ground from 1 to 8 September 2023, and the top team in the tournament progressed to the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier. The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup Africa Qualifier was a cricket tournament that formed part of the qualification process for the 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup.
