The 2024 Figueira da Foz International Ladies Open was a professional tennis tournament played on outdoor hard courts. It was the eighth edition of the tournament, which was part of the 2024 ITF Women's World Tennis Tour. It took place in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, between 22 and 28 July 2024. Tennis Court
A tennis court is the venue where the sport of tennis is played. It is a firm rectangular surface with a low net stretched across the centre. The same surface can be used to play both doubles and singles matches. A variety of surfaces can be used to create a tennis court, each with its own characteristics which affect the playing style of the game. Arianne Hartono (born 21 April 1996) is a Dutch tennis player. Hartono has won two singles and fifteen doubles titles on the ITF Circuit. On 12 September 2022, she reached her best singles ranking of world No. 156, and on 11 July 2022, she peaked at No. 123 in the WTA doubles rankings. College career Hartono played tennis during her college years for University of Mississippi and won the 2018 NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship, becoming the first Dutch player to do so. Kateryna Volodymyrivna Volodko (née Bondarenko; uk, Катерина Володимирівна Бондаренко; born 8 August 1986) is a tennis player from Ukraine. She was the doubles champion in 2008 at the Australian Open, partnering her sister Alona Bondarenko. Kateryna is the younger sister of professional tennis players Valeria and Alona.
