2024 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup – Women's Tournament
The 2024 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup – Women's tournament is the fourth edition of this continental championship. The event was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico for the second consecutive time. United States are the defending champions. Host selection Puerto Rico's capital, San Juan, was given the hosting rights on 14 January 2024 after the director of the Puerto Rican 3x3 program renewed the contract after a successful 2023 edition. This marks the second straight time that Puerto Rico is hosting the event. Venue The venue is the Distrito T-Mobile in San Juan. Distrito T-Mobile (initially developed as District Live!) is an entertainment and retail district complex located adjacent to the Puerto Rico Convention Center, part of a redevelopment of the Convention Center area that initially had opened in 2005. Distrito T-Mobile is 476,000 square feet complex of entertainment, dining, and shopping. It has 10 eateries, an 8-screen movie theater featuring IMAX, a 177 room Hotel, 2 Live Music venues, an outdoor performance plaza and an urban park featuring a zip line and a maze. The 2023 FIBA 3x3 AmeriCup – Women's tournament is the third edition of this continental championship. The event was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was contested by 15 teams. United States won their second title with a win against Brazil with the final score of 21–20. Host selection Puerto Rico's capital, San Juan, was given the hosting rights on 20 January 2023.
