The 2024 Boucles de la Mayenne () was a road cycling stage race that took place between 23 and 26 May 2024 in the Mayenne department in northwestern France. 2024 UCI ProSeries
The 2024 UCI ProSeries is the fifth season of the UCI ProSeries, the second tier road cycling tour, below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. The calendar consists of 55 events, of which 33 are one-day races (1.Pro), and 22 are stage races (2.Pro). There were 49 events in Europe, five in Asia, and one in the United States. Villaines-la-Juhel () is a commune in the Mayenne department in north-western France. Geography The town of Villaines-la-Juhel was not created by chance. Its position on a strategic Roman way was what enabled it to develop into the city which we know today. Ernée () is a commune in the Mayenne department in north-western France. It is named after the river Ernée, which runs through the town and is situated about halfway between the towns of Laval and Fougères. Individual Time Trial
An individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock (in French: ''contre la montre'' – literally "against the watch", in Italian: ''tappa a cronometro'' "stopwatch stage"). There are also track-based time trials where riders compete in velodromes, and team time trials (TTT). ITTs are also referred to as "the race of truth", as winning depends only on each rider's strength and endurance, and not on help provided by teammates and others riding ahead and creating a slipstream.
