2024 Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament
The 2024 Big Ten women's basketball tournament (branded as the 2024 TIAA Big Ten Women's Basketball Tournament for sponsorship reasons) was a postseason women's basketball Big Ten women's basketball tournament, tournament for the Big Ten Conference of the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season which took place from March 6–10, 2024. The tournament was held at the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As the tournament winner, 2023–24 Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team, Iowa received the conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament. This was the first year in which the first round was broadcast by Peacock (streaming service), Peacock. This was the last year of the then-current tournament format, as the conference 2021–2024 NCAA conference realignment#Big Ten Conference, will expand to 18 teams the following year. Ashley Ann Owusu (born January 22, 2001) is an American college basketball player for the Virginia Tech Hokies of the Atlantic Coast Conference. College career Maryland Owusu was thrust into a leadership role in her sophomore season after five seniors graduated and three players transferred out of the program. She scored her then-career high of 25 points in a game against Towson, breaking it less than a month later with a 34-point performance against Penn State.
