2024 American Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2024 American Athletic Conference men's basketball tournament was held March 13–17, 2024, at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The winner of the tournament, the UAB Blazers, received the conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA tournament. Seeds Teams were seeded by conference record. The top four teams received byes to the quarterfinals. Tiebreakers were applied as needed to properly seed the teams. Dickies Arena
Dickies Arena is a 14,000-seat multipurpose American arena, located within the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The venue hosted a public ribbon cutting on October 26, 2019. The first event held was a Twenty One Pilots concert on November 8, 2019. The facility is the result of a public-private partnership between Fort Worth, Tarrant County, the state of Texas, and a group of private-sector participants, including foundations, individuals, and organizations. The arena was designed by the 2015 Driehaus Prize winner David M. Schwarz and is owned by Fort Worth and managed by the not-for-profit Multipurpose Arena Fort Worth (MAFW). It hosts concerts, sporting events, and family entertainment, and serves as the home of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association’s (PRCA) Fort Worth Stock Show Rodeo and Xtreme Bulls since 2020 and the Professional Bull Riders’ (PBR) World Finals since 2022. 2023–24 Tulane Green Wave Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Tulane Green Wave men's basketball team represented Tulane University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Green Wave, led by fifth-year head coach Ron Hunter, played their home games at Devlin Fieldhouse in New Orleans, Louisiana as members of the American Athletic Conference.
