2023–24 West Virginia Mountaineers Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 West Virginia Mountaineers women's basketball team represented West Virginia University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mountaineers, were led by first-year head coach Mark Kellogg and played their home games at the WVU Coliseum as members of the Big 12 Conference. Previous season The Mountaineers finished the 2022–23 season 19–12, 10–8 in Big 12 play to finish in a three way tie for fourth place. In the Big 12 Tournament as a No. 5 seed, they lost to Oklahoma State in the quarterfinals. They received an at-large to the NCAA tournament as a No. 10 seed in the Greenville region 1 where they lost in the first round to Arizona. Mark Kellogg (basketball)
Mark Kellogg (born December 8, 1975) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head women's basketball coach at West Virginia University. He was previously the head coach at Stephen F. Austin, West Texas A&M, Northwest Missouri State, and Fort Lewis At the conclusion of the 2022–23 season he ranked sixth among active women's college basketball coaches with 445 wins. Early life and education Kellogg is from Richardson, Texas. He earned his bachelor's degree in communications and physical education from Austin College in 1998 and his master's degree in sport and exercise science from West Texas A&M University in 2000. Coaching career Kellogg's first coaching position was as a graduate assistant with the men's basketball team at West Texas A&M from 1998 to 2000. Arkansas State Red Wolves Women's Basketball
The Arkansas State Red Wolves women's basketball team represents Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Sun Belt Conference. They play their home games at the First National Bank Arena. History The Red Wolves have never appeared in the NCAA Tournament, though they have appeared in the NWIT in 1992, 1993 and 1994, winning the title over SMU in 1993 and finishing as runner up to Oklahoma in the following year. The Purdue Boilermakers women's basketball team is a college basketball program that competes in NCAA Division I and the Big Ten Conference. The Arizona Wildcats women's basketball program is the official women's basketball program at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona.
