2023–24 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2023–24 West Coast Conference men's basketball season began with practices in September 2023 and will end with the 2024 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament in March 2024. This will be the 73rd season for WCC men's basketball, and the 35th under its current name of "West Coast Conference". The conference was founded in 1952 as the California Basketball Association, became the West Coast Athletic Conference in 1956, and dropped the word "Athletic" in 1989. Augustas Marčiulionis (born 21 March 2002) is a Lithuanian basketball player for NCAA Division I Saint Mary's College after having played for Rytas Vilnius of the Lithuanian Basketball League (LKL). Standing , he plays the point guard position. Professional career Marčiulionis made his professional career debut with BC Perlas in the 2018–19 season. On 23 June 2020, Marčiulionis stayed with the Rytas Vilnius. On 19 September 2020, Marčiulionis, as a member of the Rytas Vilnius, debuted in the Lithuanian Basketball League and contributed to a 106–77 season opening victory versus the Juventus Utena. Saint Louis Billikens Men's Basketball
The Saint Louis Billikens men's basketball team is the college basketball, intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Saint Louis University. They compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference. The head coaching position is currently filled by Josh Schertz. Chaifetz Arena is home to the Billikens. The Billikens have reached the championship game of the NIT tournament four times and have won it once (1948). Anton Michael Watson (born October 6, 2000) is an American professional basketball player who last played for the New York Knicks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Westchester Knicks of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs. High school career Watson played basketball for four years at Gonzaga Preparatory School in Spokane, Washington. Ryan Nembhard (born March 10, 2003) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Dallas Mavericks of the National Basketball Association (NBA), on a two-way contract with the Texas Legends of the NBA G League. He played college basketball for the Creighton Bluejays and Gonzaga Bulldogs. Aidan M. Mahaney (born August 5, 2003) is an American college basketball player currently playing for the UC Santa Barbara Gauchos. He previously played for the UConn Huskies and the Saint Mary's Gaels. Early life and high school career Mahaney grew up in Lafayette, California and attended Campolindo High School. Graham Ike ( ; born August 3, 2002) is an American college basketball player for the Gonzaga Bulldogs of the West Coast Conference (WCC). He previously played for the Wyoming Cowboys. Early life and high school career Ike grew up in Aurora, Colorado and attended Overland High School. He was named second-team All-Colorado after averaging 17.6 points per game and 12 rebounds per game. Ike suffered a serious knee injury during his senior season at Overland. The UCF Knights are the sport, athletic teams that represent the University of Central Florida in unincorporated Orange County, Florida near Orlando, Florida, Orlando. Houston Cougars
The Houston Cougars are the athletic teams representing the University of Houston. Informally, the Houston Cougars have also been referred to as the Coogs, UH, or simply Houston. Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. (born February 22, 1963) is an American college basketball coach who is the current men's basketball head coach at Santa Clara. Early life Herbert Joseph Sendek Jr. grew up in Pittsburgh and attended Penn Hills High School. He starred as a point guard in basketball, lettering two years, serving as team captain, and earning All-East Suburban honors.
