2023–24 South Alabama Jaguars Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 South Alabama Jaguars women's basketball team represented the University of South Alabama during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The basketball team, led by first-year head coach Yolisha Jackson, played all home games at the Mitchell Center along with the South Alabama Jaguars men's basketball team. They were members of the Sun Belt Conference. Previous season The Jaguars finished the 2022–23 season with a record of 7–23 overall and 3–15 in conference play. They lost to Georgia State in the first round of their conference tournament. They did not advance to postseason play. On March 24, former South Florida coach Yolisha Jackson was hired to become the head coach of South Alabama. Mitchell Center
Mitchell Center is a 10,041-seat multi-purpose arena on the campus of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. It was completed in 1998 and is the home court for University of South Alabama Jaguars basketball teams. The Center is named for the Mitchell family, local real estate developers who have given over US$35 million to various University causes (both the Mitchell Cancer Institute and the Mitchell College of Business are named for them), including $1 million for construction of the Center. The venue can seat 3,500 for theatrical presentations, 7,354 for front-of-arena concerts, 8,777 for the circus and auto racing, and 10,800 for full-arena concerts. Warren Easton Charter High School is a secondary school in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Warren Easton Charter Foundation governs the school, which is chartered by Orleans Parish School Board. History The school was founded in 1843 as Boys High School. Grayson High School is located in Loganville, Georgia and has an enrollment of over 3,100 students. The school pulls students from many areas of southeastern Gwinnett County, mainly Grayson, Loganville, and Lawrenceville. General information Building information Construction on the current Grayson High School building began in August 1998 and the school opened its doors in 2000. The UT Arlington Mavericks women's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Western Athletic Conference and representing the University of Texas at Arlington. Beeville is a city in Bee County, Texas, United States, with a population of 12,863 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Bee County and home to the main campus of Coastal Bend College.
