The 2023–24 season was Sevilla Fútbol Club's 134th season in existence and 23rd consecutive season in La Liga. They also competed in the Copa del Rey, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Super Cup. Sevilla Fútbol Club () is a Spanish professional football club based in Seville, the capital and largest city of the autonomous community of Andalusia, Spain. Jesús Joaquín Fernández Sáenz de la Torre (; born 19 November 1993), known as Suso (), is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a right winger for La Liga club Sevilla and the Spain national team. Nemanja "Neno" Gudelj ( sr-Cyrl, Немања Гудељ; born 16 November 1991) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for La Liga side Sevilla and the Serbia national team. 2023–24 UEFA Champions League Group Stage
The 2023–24 UEFA Champions League group stage began on 19 September 2023 and ended on 13 December 2023. A total of 32 teams competed in the group stage to decide the 16 places in the knockout phase of the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League. Union Berlin and Antwerp made their debut appearance in the group stage. This was the Belgian club's first appearance in the European Cup since their first round exit in the 1957–58 season, and the first ever for the German side.
