2023–24 Saint Francis Red Flash Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Saint Francis Red Flash men's basketball team represented Saint Francis University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Red Flash, led by 12th-year head coach Rob Krimmel, played their home games at the DeGol Arena in Loretto, Pennsylvania as members of the Northeast Conference. Previous season The Red Flash finished the 2022–23 season 13–18, 9–7 in NEC play to finish in fourth place. They defeated Central Connecticut in the quarterfinals of the NEC tournament, before falling to Fairleigh Dickinson in the semifinals. Rob Krimmel (born September 27, 1977) is an American men's basketball head coach who was the head coach at Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania), Saint Francis University in Loretto, Pennsylvania from 2012 until 2025. Saint Francis University Krimmel was named the 21st head coach in Saint Francis University men's basketball program history, succeeding Don Friday who was fired after 4 seasons at the helm. Krimmel guided St. Francis to the 2025 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament, 2025 NCAA tournament as Northeast Conference, NEC champions. The Saint Joseph's Hawks men's basketball team represents Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Evansville Purple Aces men's basketball team represents the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana, in NCAA Division I basketball competition.
