2023–24 Sacramento State Hornets Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Sacramento State Hornets women's basketball team represented California State University, Sacramento during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hornets, led by first-year head coach Aaron Kallhoff, played their home games at the Hornets Nest in Sacramento, California as members of the Big Sky Conference. Previous season The Hornets finished the 2022–23 season 25–8, 13–5 in Big Sky play, to finish in a three-way tie for first place. Due to tiebreakers, they received the #3 seed in the Big Sky tournament, where they defeated #6 seed Idaho in the quarterfinals, #7 seed Portland State in the semifinals, and top-seeded Northern Arizona to win the Big Sky tournament championship for the first time in program and earned the Big Sky's automatic bid into the NCAA tournament. The Hornets Nest is a 1,012-seat multi-purpose gymnasium at California State University, Sacramento (Sacramento State) in Sacramento, California. BYU Cougars Women's Basketball
The BYU Cougars women's basketball team represents Brigham Young University in the West Coast Conference. The Cougars play their home games in the Marriott Center in Provo, Utah. History Records have been kept since the 1972–73 season. In the 1981–82 season, the BYU women's basketball team beat Oregon State when it made it to the post-season, but then it lost to University of Hawaii in the second round. Del Oro High School is located in Loomis, California, and is a part of the Placer Union High School District. Del Oro High School opened for the instruction of freshmen and sophomores on September 28, 1959, one week after Colfax opened. It was founded in 1958 and currently has over 1600 students attending. Loomis (formerly, Pine, Pino, Smithville, and Placer) is an incorporated town in Placer County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento– Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town's population was reported as 6,836 in the 2020 United States Census. Porter Ridge High School
Porter Ridge High School is a public high school in Indian Trail, North Carolina. Opened in 2005, it is the largest high school in the Union County Public Schools School System. Located in the northwestern portion of Union County, it has experienced considerable growth in the last two decades. The school serves half of Indian Trail (shared with Sun Valley High School) and all of Hemby Bridge and Stallings.
