2023–24 Northwestern Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Northwestern Wildcats men's basketball team represented Northwestern University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by 11th-year head coach Chris Collins. The Wildcats played their home games at Welsh–Ryan Arena in Evanston, Illinois as members of the Big Ten Conference. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2022–23 season 21–10, 12–8 in Big Ten play to finish in a tie for second place, their highest finish since the 1958–59 season. This season was also notable as the first time Northwestern defeated a number-one ranked opponent, during a home game against Purdue on February 12. Chris Collins (basketball)
Christopher Ryan Collins (born April 19, 1974) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head men's coach at Northwestern University. Collins previously served as associate head coach of the Duke University men's basketball team and is the son of National Basketball Association (NBA) player, coach, and commentator Doug Collins. Playing career At Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois, Collins played on the varsity basketball and won Illinois Mr. Basketball and McDonald's All American honors. After high school, he went on to play at Duke University. Collins received many honors for his play at Duke and was named to the All-ACC rookie team as a freshman in 1993. During his senior year, he was team captain, named Second Team All-ACC and also was awarded the Swett-Baylin Memorial Trophy, which is a trophy for Duke's MVP. 2022–23 Boise State Broncos Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Boise State Broncos men's basketball team represented Boise State University in the Mountain West Conference during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Led by thirteenth-year head coach Leon Rice, the Broncos played their home games on campus at ExtraMile Arena in Boise, Idaho. Boise State finished the regular season at 23–8 (13–5 in Mountain West, second). In the conference tournament, they defeated UNLV in the quarterfinals, then lost to Utah State in the semifinals. Oak Park, Illinois
Oak Park is a village in Cook County, Illinois, adjacent to Chicago. It is the 29th-most populous municipality in Illinois with a population of 54,583 as of the 2020 U.S. Census estimate. Oak Park was first settled in 1835 and later incorporated in 1902, when it separated from Cicero, Illinois, Cicero. Princeton Tigers Men's Basketball
The Princeton Tigers men's basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing Princeton University. The school competes in the Ivy League in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). The Tigers play home basketball games at the Jadwin Gymnasium in Princeton, New Jersey on the university campus. The Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team is an NCAA Division I college basketball team competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Manteca (Spanish for "lard") is a city in San Joaquin County, California. The city had a population of 83,498 as of the 2020 census. History Manteca is a city in the Central Valley of California, located east of San Francisco. It was founded in 1861 by Joshua Cowell. Cowell claimed around and built houses on what is now the corner of Main and Yosemite, where Bank of America now stands. In 1873, the Central Pacific Railroad laid track directly through the area. The Notre Dame Fighting Irish Men's Basketball team is the intercollegiate men's basketball program representing the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana, United States.
