2023–24 Missouri Tigers Women's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Missouri Tigers women's basketball team represented the University of Missouri during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Tigers, who were led by fourteenth-year head coach Robin Pingeton, played their home games at Mizzou Arena as members of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Previous season The Tigers finished the 2022–23 season 18–14, 6–10 in SEC play to finish in ninth place. They were defeated by Arkansas in the second round of the SEC tournament. They received an at-large bid into the WNIT, where they would defeated Illinois State in the first round, before falling to in state rival and eventual tournament champions Kansas in the second round. Robin Pingeton
Robin Renee Pingeton (née Becker; born July 9, 1968) is the head coach of the University of Missouri's women's basketball team. She was hired in April 2010 to replace former head coach Cindy Stein. Career as player College Pingeton graduated in 1990 from Saint Ambrose University. She remains the school's all-time leading scorer with 2,502 points. She also earned All-America honors in softball and basketball. WBA Pingeton played three seasons of professional basketball in the Women's Basketball Association. Career as coach Before coming to Missouri, Pingeton was the head women's basketball coach at Illinois State University. Rock Bridge High School
Rock Bridge High School is a public high school located in southern Columbia, Missouri, United States. The school serves grades 9 through 12 and is one of four High Schools in Columbia Public Schools. It is located next to the Columbia Area Career Center. The mascot is the Bruin Bear. History Due to the crowding of David H. Hickman High School towards the end of the 1960s and the increasing population of Columbia in the 1970s, the Columbia Board of Education decided to form a new high school. Evansville Purple Aces Women's Basketball
The Evansville Purple Aces women's basketball team represents the Purple Aces of the University of Evansville, located in Evansville, Indiana, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They play in the Missouri Valley Conference. In the Aces' 2019–20 season, they finished 3–26 overall. They were unable to obtain a conference win, finishing 0–18.
