The 2023–24 Louisville Cardinals women's basketball team represented the University of Louisville during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Cardinals were led by seventeenth-year head coach Jeff Walz, and played their home games at the KFC Yum! Center. This season was their tenth year competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Cardinals started the season ranked seventeenth in the nation and won their first four games of the season before losing to Alabama. After the loss, they would go on a six-game win streak that included wins over number 19 Ole Miss in the ACC–SEC Challenge and over rivals Kentucky. Jeff Walz
Jeffrey Jacob Walz (born October 27, 1971) is the head coach of the women's basketball team at the University of Louisville. In his second year as a head coach, he guided his team to a national championship appearance at the 2009 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament, and led the Cardinals to a second championship game appearance in 2013. High school Walz attended Highlands High School in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. College Walz completed his undergraduate studies at Northern Kentucky, attending on a basketball scholarship. He graduated in 1995, earning a bachelor of science in secondary education, and went on to complete a master's degree at Western Kentucky in 1997 while serving as a women's basketball graduate assistant coach under Paul Sanderford. The 2023–24 Boston College Eagles women's basketball team represented Boston College during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Eagles were led by sixth year head coach Joanna Bernabei-McNamee. They played their home games at the Conte Forum and were members of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The Eagles started off the season alternating wins and losses before losing three straight games in early season tournaments. The Kansas State Wildcats women's basketball program is the intercollegiate basketball program of the Kansas State Wildcats. The 2022–23 Iowa Hawkeyes women's basketball team represented the University of Iowa during the 2022–23 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Hawkeyes were led by head coach Lisa Bluder in her twenty-third season, and played their home games at Carver–Hawkeye Arena as a member of the Big Ten Conference.
