2023–24 Indian Super League Playoffs
The 2023–24 Indian Super League playoffs was the 10th playoffs series of the Indian Super League. The playoffs began on 19 April 2024 and concluded with the final on 4 May. The top two teams in regular season, Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan automatically qualified for the semi-finals. Teams finishing 3rd to 6th featured in a single-leg play-off to determine the other two semi-finalists, with Goa and Odisha advancing. The semi-finals was played over two legs whilst the final was a single-legged match which took place at the Vivekananda Yuba Bharati Krirangan Stadium in Kolkata, eventually won by Mumbai City against Mohun Bagan. Mohun Bagan Super Giant (commonly referred to as Mohun Bagan) is an Indian association football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Founded in 1889, it is one of the oldest football clubs in Asia. The club competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of Indian football league system. The club is most notable for its victory over the East Yorkshire Regiment in the 1911 IFA Shield final. Lallianzuala Chhangte (born 8 June 1997) is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a forward or winger for Indian Super League club Mumbai City and the India national team. He won the 2022–23 AIFF Men's Player of the Year award. Early life Manvir Singh was born in Duhre (Duhra) village of Sangrur district of Punjab to his father Kuldip Singh. He has one sibling, a brother named Harkamal Singh. Manvir was inspired by his footballer father to take up the football.
