2023–24 Grand Canyon Antelopes Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Grand Canyon Antelopes men's basketball team represented Grand Canyon University in the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. They were led by fourth-year head coach Bryce Drew and played their games at GCU Arena as members of the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). They finished the season 30–5, 17–3 in 2023–24 Western Athletic Conference men's basketball season, WAC play, to win the regular season championship. As the No. 1 seed in the 2024 WAC men's basketball tournament, WAC basketball, they defeated 2023–24 Seattle Redhawks men's basketball team, Seattle in the semifinals and beat 2023–24 UT Arlington Mavericks men's basketball team, UT Arlington in the championship to win the WCC Tournament. Bryce Drew
Bryce Homer Drew (born September 21, 1974) is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Grand Canyon Antelopes. Previously he served as the head coach of the Vanderbilt Commodores and in the same capacity at his alma mater, Valparaiso, having succeeded his father, Homer Drew. Drew has led his teams to the NCAA tournament on four occasions, including at least once at each of the three schools he has been the head coach of. Bryce's brother, Scott, also coached at Valpo before becoming the head coach of the Baylor Bears. As a player, Bryce Drew was known for his buzzer-beating shot in the first round of Valparaiso's run in the 1998 NCAA tournament.
