2023–24 Dhaka First Division Cricket League
The 2023–24 Dhaka First Division Cricket League is a 2023–24 season of Dhaka First Division Cricket League. This is a 50 over cricket competition that is being held in Bangladesh. It is being played by the 20 club teams. The tournament started on 17 January 2024 to 29 February 2024. Champion team will be promoted to 2024–25 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Bangladesh Cricket Board
The Bangladesh Cricket board ( bn, বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড; abbreviated as BCB) is the governing body of cricket in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh Cricket Board first became an associate member of the International Cricket Council in 1977 and on June 26, 2000 became a Full Member. BCB have three International Cricket teams which represent Bangladesh in international cricket, which are Bangladesh Men's national cricket team, Bangladesh women's national cricket team and Bangladesh under-19 cricket team. Relegation League
In sports leagues, promotion and relegation is a process where teams are transferred between multiple divisions based on their performance for the completed season. Super League
The Super League (officially known as the Betfred Super League due to sponsorship from Betfred and legally known as Super League Europe), is the top-level of the British rugby league system. At present the league consists of twelve teams, of which eleven are from Northern England, reflecting the sport's geographic heartland within the UK, and one from southern France. The Super League began in 1996, replacing the existing Rugby Football League Championship First Division, First Division and, significantly, switching from a traditional winter season to a summer season. Uttara Sporting Club is a cricket team in Bangladesh, named after the suburb of Uttara in the north-west of Dhaka. They were one of the twelve teams to take part in the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Twenty20 Cricket League and the 2018–19 Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League. Old DOHS Sports Club is a team that plays List A cricket in the Dhaka Premier League in Bangladesh in 2014–15 and 2019–20. The sports club is based at the Defense Officers Housing Society estate (known as "Old DOHS" or " Banani DOHS") in the suburb of Banani in Dhaka.
