2023–24 Danish 2nd Division
The 2023–24 Danish 2nd Division is the 33rd season of the Danish 2nd Division since its establishment in 1991. The season started on 4 August 2023 with a group of twelve teams. After 22 rounds the group will be split in a promotion group and a relegation group. The top two teams of the promotion group will be promoted to the 2024–25 Danish 1st Division. Participants Fremad Amager and Nykøbing FC finished the 2022–23 season of the Danish 1st Division in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and were relegated to the 2nd Division. They replaced Kolding IF and B.93, who were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish 1st Division. Frem and Jammerbugt FC finished the 2022–23 season of the Danish 2nd Division in 11th and 12th place, respectively, and as Frem relegated to the 3rd Division, Jammerbugt went down several divisions to the Jutland Series after filing for bankruptcy. Esbjerg forenede Boldklubber (; commonly known as Esbjerg fB or EfB in short) is a Danish professional football club based in Esbjerg, West Jutland, that plays in the 2nd division, the third-tier of the Danish football league system. The 2022–23 Danish 3rd Division was the second season of the Danish 3rd Division since its establishment in 2021. The season started on 6 August 2022 with a group of twelve teams. After 22 rounds the group was split in a promotion group and a relegation group. The top two teams of the promotion group were promoted to the 2023–24 Danish 2nd Division. Participants AB Tårnby, Ishøj IF, SfB-Oure FA, and Holstebro were promoted from the 2021–22 Denmark Series. Brabrand () is a postal district of Aarhus Municipality, Denmark. Gladsaxe Stadium
Gladsaxe Stadium ( da, Gladsaxe Stadion) is a sports center located on Gladsaxevej 200, Søborg, Gladsaxe Municipality, in Copenhagen, which is primarily used for association football matches. The stadium hosts a number of training courses for running the football, handball and softball and hosts a restaurant. The ground is the home ground of Akademisk Boldklub and Gladsaxe-Hero Boldklub (rail size: 68 x 105 meters, and lighting: 700 lux.). The stadium has a capacity of 13,800, of which 8,000 are covered seats. The construction of the plant was started in 1938 and named Gladsaxe Idrætspark Marielyst. The inauguration of the facility took place on 26 May 1940. Gladsaxe Kommune is a municipality (Danish, ''Commune (subnational entity), kommune'') near Copenhagen in Region Hovedstaden on the island of Zealand (Denmark), Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. Riisvangen Stadium
Riisvangen Stadion (, "Riis Meadow") is an association football stadium in Aarhus N. It is the home stadium of Danish 2nd Division club Aarhus Fremad. Stadium capacity is 5,000, but the attendance record is 3,200 which occurred when the club competed in the Danish Superliga, in a matchup against Ikast fS on 2 November 1997. Riisvangen Stadion was constructed in the 1936 on the initiative of Aarhus Municipality. During this period, the population of Aarhus had experienced a large population growth concentrated around northern Aarhus, known as Aarhus N, and the construction of a sports facility would facilitate needs to nurture sports in the area. Middelfart Boldklub is a Danish football club which plays in the Danish 3rd Division, the fourth tier of Danish football. They play at Middelfart Stadion in Middelfart, which has a capacity of 4,100.
