2023–24 Bulgarian Cup
The 2023–24 Bulgarian Cup was the 42nd official edition of the Bulgarian annual football knockout tournament. It was sponsored by ''Sesame'' and known as the Sesame Kupa na Bulgaria for sponsorship purposes. The competition began on 9 August 2023 with the preliminary round and finished with the final on 15 May 2024. Ludogorets Razgrad were the defending cup winners, which reached the final for second consecutive year. They were defeated there by Botev Plovdiv, which won their fourth cup in their history. As cup winners Botev qualified for the 2024–25 UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. CSKA Sofia ( bg, ЦСКА София) is a Bulgarian professional association football club based in Sofia and currently competing in the country's premier football competition, the First League. FC Chernomorets Balchik
Chernomorets ( bg, Черноморец) is a Bulgarian football club based in Balchik, that competes in the North-East Third League, the third tier of Bulgarian football. The team plays its home games at the local Balchik Stadium with 3,200 seats. History Chernomorets were founded as Sport Club Strela in late 1918 by English and Italian soldiers after World War I. The team finally became known as Chernomorets in 1957. In its history, Chernomorets has played mainly in the Bulgarian amateurs divisions. Until the 1976/77 season, the team participated at most in the third Bulgarian division, but gained a promotion to the B Group for the 1977/78 season. OFC Belasitsa ( bg, ОФК Беласица Петрич) is a Bulgarian football club from the town of Petrich, currently playing in the Second League. The team was founded in 1923. OFC Bdin ( bg, ОФК Бдин) is a Bulgarian football club based in Vidin, currently playing in the North-West Third League, the third level of Bulgarian football.
