2023–24 B1 League Season
The 2023–24 B1 League season was the eighth season of the B1 League, the top Japanese professional basketball league, since its establishment in 2015. The regular season began on 5 October 2023. Chiba Jets
Chiba Jets Funabashi () is a Japanese professional basketball team located in Funabashi, Chiba. The team joined the JBL Super League in 2005 and currently competes in the B.League, which they have won in 2021. Owned by Mixi, they have also won five Emperor's Cups. The Jets also won the East Asia Super League (EASL) in 2023–24 East Asia Super League, 2024, and an exhibition season title in 2017. The 2024 championship was won behind season MVP Yuki Togashi, who scored 20 points in the final against Seoul SK Knights. Luka Pavićević
Luka Pavićević ( sr-cyr, Лука Павићевић; born 17 June 1968) is a Montenegrin professional basketball coach and former player. Most recently, he served as the head coach for Alvark Tokyo of the Japanese B.League. A point guard, Pavićević played basketball between 1982 and 2003. During his playing days, he played for Budućnost, Cibona, Jugoplastika / Pop 84, Proleter Zrenjanin, Crvena zvezda, FMP, Beobanka, Soproni Ászok, Espoon Honka, Anwil Włocławek, Rabotnički, and Besançon. He retired as a player with Crvena zvezda in 2003.
