2023–24 Abilene Christian Wildcats Men's Basketball Team
The 2023–24 Abilene Christian Wildcats men's basketball team represents Abilene Christian University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Wildcats, led by third-year head coach Brette Tanner, play their home games at Moody Coliseum in Abilene, Texas as members of the Western Athletic Conference. Previous season The Wildcats finished the 2022–23 season 13–17, 7–11 in WAC play to finish in ninth place. In the first round of the WAC Tournament, they were defeated by California Baptist. Brette Tanner
Brette Tanner (born November 7, 1975) is an American basketball coach who is currently the head coach of the Abilene Christian Wildcats, a position he has held since 2021. He played collegiately at Emporia State from 1996 to 1998. Tanner served as an assistant coach at Stephen F. Austin. He was hired as an assistant coach at Abilene Christian in 2013, as the school transitioned to Division I. Otero College is a public community college in La Junta, Colorado. History Otero College was established in 1941 and was named La Junta Junior College. Which was operated by the school district.
