2023 Women's European Volleyball League
The 2023 Women's European Volleyball League is the 14th edition of the annual Women's European Volleyball League, which features women's national volleyball teams from 17 European countries. The Golden Leagues final phase will feature semi-finals and finals played as a home and away game. The winner and the runner-up will qualify to the 2023 Challenger Cup The tournament has two divisions: the Golden League, which featured nine teams, and the Silver League, which featured eight teams. Women's European Volleyball League
The Women's European Volleyball League is a continental volleyball competition for senior women's national volleyball teams of Europe, organized by the European Volleyball Confederation ( CEV). Created in 2009, the competition served as a qualifying tournament for the FIVB World Grand Prix (until 2016) and its successor the FIVB Challenger Cup since 2018. This event should not be confused with the other, more prestigious, continental competition for European national volleyball teams, the European Volleyball Championship. 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup
The 2023 FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup was the fourth edition of the FIVB Volleyball Women's Challenger Cup, an annual women's international volleyball tournament contested by eight national teams that acts as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Women's Nations League. The tournament was held at Espace Mayenne in Laval, France, between 27 and 30 July 2023. Five teams made their first appearance in the women's Challenger Cup in this edition: Kenya, Mexico, Sweden, Ukraine and Vietnam. The host France won the title, defeating Sweden in the final, and earned the right to participate in the 2024 Nations League replacing Croatia, the last placed challenger team in the 2023 edition. Colombia defeated Ukraine in the 3rd place match. A single-elimination, knockout, or sudden death tournament is a type of elimination tournament where the loser of each match-up is immediately eliminated from the tournament. 2023 Men's European Volleyball League
The 2023 Men's European Volleyball League is the 19th edition of the annual Men's European Volleyball League, which features men's national volleyball teams from 18 European countries. The tournament has two divisions: the Golden League, which features twelve teams, and the Silver League with six teams. Due to the lack of organizer for the Final Four Tournament of the Silver League, the final phase will consist of semi-finals and finals played as home & away matches.
