The 2023 Sitting Volleyball European Championships – Women's event was the 16th edition of this Sitting volleyball#ParaVolley Europe (formerly ECVD) European Championships, tournament. The reigning champions are Russia women's national sitting volleyball team, Russia, but their disqualification due to the Russian invasion of Ukraine, war in Ukraine means they can't defend their title. Caorle (; vec, Càorle) is a coastal town in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy, located between the estuaries of the Livenza and Lemene rivers. It is situated on the Adriatic Sea between two other tourist towns, Eraclea and Bibione.
