The 2023 Sitting Volleyball European Championships – Men's event was the 21th edition of this Sitting volleyball#ParaVolley Europe (formerly ECVD) European Championships, tournament. They successfully defended their title after defeating Germany men's national sitting volleyball team, Germany, 3–2, in the final. Caorle (; vec, Càorle) is a coastal town in the Metropolitan City of Venice, Veneto, northern Italy, located between the estuaries of the Livenza and Lemene rivers. The 2023 Sitting Volleyball World Cup – Men's event was the 6th edition of this tournament (3rd using the World Cup moniker) and was, for the first time, held in Cairo, Egypt. The winners or highest ranked team not yet qualified, will advance to the Sitting volleyball at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, 2024 Summer Paralympics. The defending champions are Iran national sitting volleyball team, Iran, and successfully defended their title, overcoming Egypt national sitting volleyball team, Egypt 3–0 in the final. Host selection Originally, Cairo was chosen as the replacement venue for the 2020 edition in Hangzhou, China after the Chinese withdrew because of the Covid-19 pandemic (the competition dates were 24–30 April). 2024 African Sitting Volleyball Championships – Women's Tournament
The 2024 African Sitting Volleyball Championships – Women's tournament was held in Lagos, Nigeria. The winners qualify for the Sitting volleyball at the 2024 Summer Paralympics, 2024 Summer Paralympics. Rwanda women's national sitting volleyball team, Rwanda are the three-time defending champions. Rwanda won the competition and qualified for the Paralympics after a 3–0 over Kenya. Host selection Lagos, Nigeria was given the hosting rights. Qualified teams Four countries entered for this championship. There were originally three teams, but Kenya women's sitting national volleyball team, Kenya entered the competition a week before the event began.
