The 2023 Monza Formula 2 round was a motor racing event held between 1 and 3 September 2023 at the Monza Circuit. It was the penultimate race of the 2023 Formula 2 Championship and was held in support of the 2023 Italian Grand Prix. Classification Qualifying Sprint race Notes * - Isack Hadjar received a 5-second time penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage. * - Jak Crawford was handed a 5-second time penalty for exceeding track limits. * - Juan Manuel Correa received a 10-second time penalty for causing a collision with Jehan Daruvala. The Monza Circuit ( it, Autodromo Nazionale di Monza, , National Automobile Racetrack of Monza) is a race track near the city of Monza, north of Milan, in Italy. Built in 1922, it was the world's third purpose-built motor racing circuit after Brooklands and Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Indianapolis and the oldest in mainland Europe. Hitech Grand Prix (formerly known as Hitech Racing) is a British motor racing team. It was founded in 2002 by Dennis Rushen and David Hayle. Roy Nissany ( he, רוי ניסני; born 30 November 1994) is an Israeli racing driver who is set to compete in the Formula 2 Championship with PHM Racing by Charouz. Jehan Daruvala (born 1 October 1998) is an Indian racing driver currently serving as a reserve driver for the Mahindra Racing Formula E team. Jack Doohan (born 20 January 2003) is an Australian race car driver serving as reserve driver for Alpine F1 Team and currently competing in the FIA Formula 2 Championship with Invicta Virtuosi Racing.
