2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships
The 2023 European Athletics Indoor Championships will be held from 2 to 5 March 2023 at the Ataköy Athletics Arena in Istanbul, Turkey, the first time the event has taken place in this country although the venue did stage the 2012 IAAF World Indoor Championships, 2012 World Indoor Championships. The four-day competition will be held during the centenary year of the Republic of Turkey, and will feature 13 men's and 13 women's athletics events over three morning and four afternoon sessions. More than 600 athletes from the 51 European Athletics Member Federations are expected to compete in Ataköy Arena. Katie Snowden
Katie Snowden (born 9 March 1994) is an English middle-distance runner representing England and Great Britain, specialising in the 1500 metres. She finished fourth in the event at the 2022 European Athletics Championships. Snowden represented Great Britain at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Career Katie Snowden won the girls' 800 metres event at the 2011 Commonwealth Youth Games held in Douglas, Isle of Man. In 2015, she placed sixth in the women's 800 metres at the European Under-23 Championships held in Tallinn, Estonia. Snowden competed in the women's 1500 metres at the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in Gold Coast, Australia. Águeda Marqués Muñoz (born Águeda Muñoz Marqués; 19 March 1999) is a Spanish track and field athlete who competes primarily over 1500m on the track, but also competes as a cross-country runner. Early life From Segovia, Castile and León, Marqués was a promising youngster, winning the silver medal in the 1000 metres for her age group at the Spanish championships in 2014.
