2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup Group A
Group A of the 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup consisted of co-host nation the United States, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Saint Kitts and Nevis. Nicaragua originally qualified as winners of CONCACAF Nations League B Group C, but were disqualified for fielding ineligible players. They were replaced by Trinidad and Tobago, the runners-up in Group C who had originally qualified for the preliminary round. The group stage was divided between four groups who played from June 24 to July 2, 2023. The top two teams advanced to the quarter-finals, while the other two teams were eliminated. The 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be the 17th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the biennial international men's football championship of the North, Central American and Caribbean region organized by CONCACAF. The tournament will take place from June 24 to July 16, 2023. The final will be held at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. The United States are the defending champions, having won the 2021 edition. Qualified teams On September 2, 2020, CONCACAF announced that 2022 FIFA World Cup hosts Qatar would participate in the 2021 and 2023 tournaments. César Arturo Ramos Palazuelos (born 5 December 1983) is a Mexican professional football referee. He has been a full international for FIFA since 2014. Jesús David Ferreira Castro (born December 24, 2000) is a professional soccer player who plays as a forward for Major League Soccer club FC Dallas.
