2023 Berlin EPrix
The 2023 Berlin ePrix, known for sponsorship reasons as the 2023 SABIC Berlin E-Prix, was a pair of Formula E electric car races held at the Tempelhof Airport Street Circuit at Tempelhof Airport in the outskirts of Berlin, Germany on 22 and 23 April 2023. It served as the seventh and eighth rounds of the 2022–23 Formula E season, and marked the ninth edition of the Berlin ePrix, the only event to have featured in every season of the Formula E championship. The first race was won by Mitch Evans for Jaguar TCS Racing, with Sam Bird and Maximilian Günther in second and third place respectively. The second race was won by Nick Cassidy for the Envision Racing team, with Jake Dennis and Jean-Éric Vergne completing the podium. Jake Dennis (born 16 June 1995) is a British racing driver who lives in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. He currently competes in the Formula E World Championship with Avalanche Andretti Formula E. Early career Karting Dennis began his racing career in karting at the age of eight with Andy Cox Racing. In 2005 he clinched South West Cadet championship title. Following year he finished third in the Shenington Club Championship. In 2008 he received Racing Steps Foundation backing and graduated to KF3 category. in his first year he became British champion in KF3. Oliver Rowland
Oliver Rowland (born 10 August 1992) is a British racing driver. He is currently competing full-time in Formula E driving for Mahindra Racing. He has previously competed for Manor Motorsport in the 2018 WEC season, and he was also previously the young driver of Williams F1 Team during the 2018 Formula 1 season. Career Karting Born in Barnsley, Rowland began karting at the age of seven, and spent a successful decade racing in the various classes around the United Kingdom. After finishing second in the Super 1 National Cadet Championship in 2002, Rowland won the championship for the next two years. Sérgio Sette Câmara Filho (born 23 May 1998) is a Brazilian racing driver who currently drives for NIO 333 FE Team in Formula E. He was a member of the Red Bull Junior Team, having formerly been a test and development driver for McLaren. Career FIA Formula 3 European Championship 2014 After he turned 16, Sette Câmara was legally able to race in the national F3 championship (Class A) in Brazil. Stoffel Vandoorne (born 26 March 1992) is a Belgian professional racing driver who is currently racing for Dragon Racing in Formula E. António Maria de Mello Breyner Félix da Costa (born 31 August 1991) is a Portuguese professional racing driver for the Porsche Formula E Team and the 2019–20 Formula E Drivers' Champion. Pascal Wehrlein (born 18 October 1994) is a German-Mauritian racing driver for the Porsche Formula E Team. He previously raced in Formula One for the Sauber and Manor teams. Holding dual nationality of Germany and Mauritius, he raced under the German flag in Formula One. He had previously raced in DTM, winning the title with the Mercedes-Benz team HWA AG in 2015. Berlin EPrix
The Berlin ePrix is an annual race of the single-seater, electrically powered Formula E championship, held in Berlin, Germany. It was first raced in the 2014–15 season. Circuits Tempelhof Airport The 2015 Berlin ePrix took place at a temporary circuit at Tempelhof Airport, that was 2.469 km long with 17 turns. But because Tempelhof Airport was used for housing refugees in 2016, the second edition could not take place there. The race returned to Tempelhof Airport in 2017 with an updated layout that features 10 turns and 2.250 km long. It is the only circuit on the calendar to feature old concrete that offers low grip and high tyre wear, as used in the airport, long turns, an indoor tunnel and a wide circuit. 2022–23 Formula E World Championship
The 2022–23 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship is due to be the ninth season of the FIA Formula E championship. The 2022–23 season is planned to be the first season of the Formula E Gen3 car. The reigning Team's Champions, Mercedes-EQ Formula E Team, will not return to defend the title. Teams and drivers All teams will the use the Formula E Gen3 car on Hankook tyres. Berlin Tempelhof Airport (german: Flughafen Berlin-Tempelhof) was one of the first airports in Berlin, Germany.
