2023 Auburn Tigers Baseball Team
The 2023 Auburn Tigers baseball team represented Auburn University in the 2023 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Tigers played their home games at Plainsman Park. The Tigers finished 34–23–1, 17–13 in the SEC to finish in third place in the West division. The team played in the SEC Tournament, beating Missouri, but then lost to No. 6 Vanderbilt and then No. 16 . They then hosted their games in the NCAA Tournament, where they lost to and Southern Miss. Previous season In 2022, the Tigers finished 43–22, finishing 4th in the SEC West division. They would become the Auburn Regional champions, and then the Corvallis Super Regional champions in the NCAA Tournament. The team would go on to participate in the College World Series, where they would beat Stanford, but lose to Ole Miss and Arkansas. Butch Thompson (baseball)
Butch Thompson (born December 15, 1970) is an American baseball coach and former pitcher, who is the current head baseball coach of the Auburn Tigers baseball, Auburn Tigers. He was named to that position prior to the 2016 NCAA Division I baseball season. He has led Auburn to the College World Series in 2019 and 2022. In 2014, he was named the ABCA/''Baseball America'' Assistant Coach of the Year. 2023 Florida Gators Baseball Team
The 2023 Florida Gators baseball team represents the University of Florida in the sport of baseball during the 2023 college baseball season. Florida competes in the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Home games will be played at Condron Ballpark on the university's Gainesville, Florida, campus, in the third season at the ballpark. Riverwalk Stadium
Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium is the home of the Montgomery Biscuits of the Southern League. The minor league baseball ballpark opened in Montgomery, Alabama in 2004. Located in downtown Montgomery, the stadium can host up to 7,000 people a night. Riverwalk Stadium is a converted century-old train shed. The actual train station is located two blocks away from the field. The abandoned train shed is what is on the exterior of the first base side of the park.
