2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup
The 2023 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup was the fourth edition of the Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup, an annual international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Chinese Taipei Volleyball Association (CTVBA). The tournament was held in Taipei, Taiwan from 8 to 15 July 2023. The winners of the tournament qualified for the 2023 FIVB Volleyball Men's Challenger Cup. Thailand won their first title and earned the right to participate in 2023 Challenger Cup after defeating Bahrain in straight sets in the final. South Korea took the bronze after defeating Vietnam in the 3rd place match. Anurak Phanram named as the MVP of the tournament. Qualified teams The following teams qualified for the tournament. 2022 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup
The 2022 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup was the second edition of the Asian Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Kyrgyzstan Volleyball Federation (KVF). The tournament was held in Cholpon-Ata, Kyrgyzstan from 29 August to 3 September 2022. The 2018 Asian Men's Volleyball Challenge Cup was the inaugural edition of the Asian Challenge Cup, a biennial international volleyball tournament organised by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Sri Lanka Volleyball Federation (SLVF). The tournament was held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 15 to 21 September 2018. Qualification The 8 AVC member associations qualified for the 2018 Asian Men's Challenge Cup. Sri Lanka qualified as hosts and the 3 teams were qualified from the 2017 Asian Men's Volleyball Championship while the 4 teams are new entry. India Men's National Volleyball Team
The India men's national volleyball team represents India in international volleyball competitions. It is managed by the Volleyball Federation of India and is currently sponsored by Sahara India Pariwar and Asics. The Indian volleyball team has had a rollercoaster ride in its history. Although they have never qualified for the Olympics, they have appeared in the World Championship twice. Despite having little to no presence at the world stage in its history, the team has enjoyed some success at the continental level by clinching a silver medal and two bronze medals at the Asian Games.
