2022–23 Wright State Raiders Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Wright State Raiders men's basketball team represented Wright State University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Raiders, led by seventh-year head coach Scott Nagy, played their home games at the Nutter Center in Dayton, Ohio as members of the Horizon League. Season summary For Wright State, 2022-23 began under the shadow of having lost its two leading scorers not to graduation or injury, but to the new open transfer rules. Grant Basile left for the Virginia Tech Hokies and Tanner Holden for The Ohio State Buckeyes. This fueled the concerns of supporters who worry about Wright State’s ability to compete in the NIL era. Scott Nagy
Scott Michael Nagy (; born June 7, 1966) is an American college basketball coach and the current head coach for Wright State Raiders men's basketball. He had previously served as head coach at South Dakota State for 21 seasons (1995–2016). Born in Abilene, Texas, , South Dakota State University, released June 5, 2007 Nagy attended St. Matthews grade school in Champaign, Illinois and Champaign Centennial High School, which he graduated from in 1984. His father is Dick Nagy, who was a University of Illinois assistant basketball coach under Lou Henson. Nagy played basketball collegiately at Delta State University, where he currently holds school records for most career games played and most assists in a career (549), season (234) and game (15). After graduation, Nagy became a graduate assistant at the University of Illinois for two seasons before taking a full-time assistant's job at South Dakota State, which he held for three years. 2021–22 Bryant Bulldogs Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team represented Bryant University in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Bulldogs, led by fourth-year head coach Jared Grasso, played their home games at the Chace Athletic Center in Smithfield, Rhode Island as members of the Northeast Conference. They finished the season 22–10, 16–2 in NEC play to win the regular season championship. They defeated Central Connecticut, Mount St. Mary's, and Wagner to win the NEC tournament championship. As a result, the Bulldogs received the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, the school's first-ever trip to the tournament, where they lost to Wright State in the First Four. Grafton is a village in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. Located about north of Milwaukee and in close proximity to Interstate 43, it is a suburban community in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. Glendale Heights is a village in DuPage County, Illinois, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 33,176. History Glendale Heights was a small farming area served by the Glen Ellyn post office up until the 1950s, with a population of just 104 in 1959.
