2022–23 Summit League Men's Basketball Season
The 2022–23 Summit League men's basketball season started non-conference play on November 7, 2022, and began conference play on December 19, 2022. The regular season ended on February 25, 2023, and the 2023 Summit League men's basketball tournament from March 3 to March 7, 2023. Oral Roberts finished league play with a perfect 18–0 record, the second time that has happened in the Summit League's history and second year in a row a team has finished with a perfect league record (South Dakota State). In the postseason, Oral Roberts made the 2023 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament as a 12 seed. They lost to Duke in the first round. Conference Changes Following last year's postseason tournament, the Summit League announced they would be expanding the tournament in future years to include all 10 teams. Marvin Menzies
Marvin Eugene Menzies (born October 15, 1961) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the men's head coach at the University of Missouri–Kansas City. Menzies was hired on April 26, 2022, after former coach Billy Donlon resigned to become an assistant coach at Clemson. He was previously the associate head coach at Grand Canyon University. He was named to the position at Grand Canyon on April 18, 2019. Eric Henderson (basketball)
Eric Nicholas Henderson (born May 30, 1978) is an American basketball coach. He currently coaches the Drake Bulldogs men's basketball team. Playing career Henderson played college basketball at Wayne State College in Nebraska under Greg McDermott where he registered 876 rebounds and 160 career steals. He was inducted into the Wayne State College Athletic Hall of Fame in 2008. Coaching career After graduation, Henderson joined the coaching staff of his alma mater from 2001 to 2003. Johnny Tauer (born September 18, 1972) is an Americans, American psychologist, professor and basketball coach (basketball), coach. He is the current head coach of the St. Thomas (Minnesota) Tommies, St. Thomas Tommies men's basketball team. Paul Kerry Mills (born April 4, 1972) is an American college basketball coach who is currently the head coach at Wichita State. Early life Mills, the son of a pastor in the Houston-area community of Aldine, Texas, grew up in a parsonage attached to the church where his father preached. North Dakota State Bison Men's Basketball
The North Dakota State Bison men's basketball team is a part of the athletic program at North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota, U.S. They are members of the NCAA Division I and have been part of The Summit League since May 2007. Home games are played at the Scheels Center which is located on the NDSU campus in Fargo, ND. David Richman
David Richman (born May 1, 1978) is an American basketball coach. He is the men's basketball head coach at North Dakota State University, a position he has held since 2015. Early life and education Richman was born on May 1, 1978, and grew up in Wahpeton, North Dakota. A 2002 graduate of North Dakota State with a degree in physical education, Richman received a master's degree in sport and recreation management from NDSU in 2005.
