2022–23 Northern Kentucky Norse Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Northern Kentucky Norse men's basketball team represented Northern Kentucky University in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Norse were led by fourth-year head coach Darrin Horn, and played their home games at Truist Arena in Highland Heights, Kentucky as members of the Horizon League. They finished the season 19–12, 14–6 in Horizon League play to finish in a three-way tie for second place. They defeated Oakland, Youngstown State, and Cleveland State to claim the title championship of the Horizon League tournament. They received the Horizon League's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament, where they lost in the first round to top-seeded Houston, closing their season with an overall record of 22–13. Darrin Horn
Darrin McKinley Horn (born December 24, 1972) is an American college basketball head coach at Northern Kentucky, having previously served as an assistant coach at the University of Texas and a head coach for the Division I (NCAA) programs at Western Kentucky University and at the University of South Carolina. Playing career Born in Kentucky, Horn played guard for the 1991 KHSAA state runner-up Tates Creek High School Commodores in Lexington, Kentucky for coach Nolan Barger. In college, Horn played for Western Kentucky University Hilltoppers in Bowling Green, Kentucky from 1991 to 1995. He was a crowd favorite, hitting a game-winning three-pointer to defeat the University of Louisville on February 16, 1993, in Freedom Hall. The 2021–22 Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons men's basketball team represented Purdue University Fort Wayne in the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Mastodons, led by eighth-year head coach Jon Coffman, played their home games at the Hilliard Gates Sports Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana, as members of the Horizon League. They finished the regular season 21–11, 15–6 to earn a share of the regular season championship. As the No. 2 seed in the Horizon League tournament, they defeated UIC in the quarterfinals before losing to Northern Kentucky in the semifinals. Memorial High School is a public high school in Eau Claire, Wisconsin that serves grades 9 through 12. It is one of two public high schools in the Eau Claire Area School District. History Memorial High School first opened in 1957. Following a 2022 referendum, Memorial began various renovations projects in June 2024. Bush signed the No Child Left Behind Act on January 8, 2002. History The present building on Eaton Avenue opened as Taft High School in 1959. Taft served the west side of Hamilton while Garfield High School on Fair Avenue served the east. Both were consolidated to form Hamilton High School in 1980.
