2022–23 Missouri Tigers Men's Basketball Team
The 2022–23 Missouri Tigers men's basketball team represented the University of Missouri in the 2022–23 NCAA Division I men's basketball season and is led by first-year head coach Dennis Gates. Dennis Gates
Dennis Gates (born January 14, 1980) is an American college basketball coach and former player who is the head coach of the Missouri Tigers men's basketball team. Playing career Gates played college basketball at California, where he was a two-time first-team All-Academic selection in the Pac-10, having graduated in three years, playing his senior season as a master's degree candidate. Gates was also a member of Cal's 2002 NCAA tournament team. Coaching career After graduation, Gates served as a coaching intern for the Los Angeles Clippers before heading to the college ranks for two graduate assistant coaching positions at Marquette and Florida State for a season each. He would return to his alma mater as a full assistant coach in 2005 under Ben Braun. 2022 SEC Men's Basketball Tournament
The 2022 Southeastern Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the 2021–22 Southeastern Conference men's basketball season, held on March 9–13, 2022 at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida. The winner, the Tennessee Volunteers, received the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA tournament. Seeds All 14 SEC teams participated in the tournament. Ball State Cardinals Men's Basketball
The Ball State Cardinals men's basketball team represents Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. The Cardinals first basketball season was 1920–21. The school's team currently competes in the Mid-American Conference. The team last played in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament in 2000. The Cardinals have had various levels of success throughout their 94 seasons of competition. Although there was little success in the program from its start until the 1970s, the next two decades would be the highlight of the program's performance. The Austin Peay Governors men's basketball team represents Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee. The Governors play in the ASUN Conference starting in 2022–23, following 61 seasons in the Ohio Valley Conference. Trotwood is a city in Montgomery County, Ohio, United States and is a suburb of Dayton. The population was 24,431 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dayton Metropolitan Statistical Area. The Iona Gaels men's basketball team represents Iona University in New Rochelle, New York in NCAA Division I competition.
