The 2022–23 CEV Women's Champions League was the 63rd edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. Teams *TH: Champions League title holders *1st, 2nd, 3rd.: Final position in national leagues of the previous season * Q : Qualified for League Round Pools composition The Drawing of Lots was held on 16 September 2022 in Brussels. League round * 20 teams compete in the ''League round''. * The teams are split into 5 groups, each one featuring four teams. * The top team in each pool automatically qualifies for the quarterfinals. * All 2nd placed teams and the best 3rd placed team qualify for the playoffs. * The remaining 3rd placed teams will compete in the quarterfinals of the 2022–23 CEV Cup. *All times are local. CEV Champions League
The CEV Champions League is the top official competition for men's volleyball clubs from the whole of Europe. The competition is organised every year by the European Volleyball Confederation. Formula (2018–19 to present) Qualification A total of 20 teams participate in the main competition, with 18 teams being allocated direct vacancies on the basis of ranking list for European Cup Competitions, and 2 teams from the qualification rounds. League round 20 teams take part in the League round where they are split into 5 groups. After each match the following points are assigned: * Winner (3:0 or 3:1) – 3 points * Winner (3:2) – 2 points * Loser (2:3) – 1 point * Loser (1:3 or 0:3) – 0 points Each pool will be contested in a six-leg double round-robin home-and-away format. VDK Gent Damesvolleybalteam is a volleyball team from Ghent, Belgium. VDK Gent-Heusden was founded in 1990, after a merger between VDK Wondelgem, Nova Smash Sint-Amandsberg and VBK Heusden. The new club had men's and women's teams. In 1993, White Star Sint-Amandsberg and VOM Gentbrugge joined, and the name of the club was shortened to VDK Gent. The activities of Gent were split up in 1997. The women's teams became active under ''VDK Gent Damesvolleybalteam'', the men's compartiment was named ''VDK Gent Herenvolleyteam''. The 2023–24 CEV Women's Champions League was the 64th edition of the highest level European volleyball club competition organised by the European Volleyball Confederation. 2021–22 Turkish Women's Volleyball League
The 2021–22 Turkish Women's Volleyball League is the 39th volleyball tournament year and the top-level women's volleyball tournament of the newly branded and reorganized Turkish Women's Volleyball League. The winner, runner-up and third of Turkish Women's Volleyball League will play in CEV Champions League league round and 4th place will play in CEV Cup main phase. The 5th place will play in CEV Challenge Cup main phase while the last 2 teams in the Turkish Women's Volleyball League will be relegated to the Second League.
