2022–23 Bolton Wanderers F.C. Season
The 2022–23 season is the 134th season in the existence of Bolton Wanderers Football Club, the club's second consecutive season in EFL League One and the first time in five seasons that they have started consecutive seasons in the same division. It will cover the period from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023. In addition to the league, they will also compete in the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy. Bolton Wanderers F
Bolton (, locally ) is a large town in Greater Manchester in North West England, formerly a part of Lancashire. A former mill town, Bolton has been a production centre for textiles since Flemish people, Flemish weavers settled in the area in the 14th century, introducing a wool and cotton-weaving tradition. The urbanisation and development of the town largely coincided with the introduction of textile manufacture during the Industrial Revolution. Dan Nlundulu (born 5 February 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for League One club Bolton Wanderers. Born in France, he represents England internationally. Club career Southampton Nlundulu signed a two-year contract extension in September 2019. He made his first match day squad appearance as an unused substitute against Manchester United on 31 August 2019. Jón Daði Böðvarsson (transliterated as Jon Dadi Bodvarsson; born 25 May 1992) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a right winger or a striker for League One club Bolton Wanderers and the Iceland national team. Joshua Luke Sheehan (born 30 March 1995) is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for League One club Bolton Wanderers and the Wales national team. George Thomas Johnston (born 1 September 1998) is a professional footballer who plays as a defender for League One club Bolton Wanderers. Born in England, Johnston represents Scotland at youth international level. Ricardo Alexandre Almeida Santos (born 18 June 1995) is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a defender for Bolton Wanderers. Gethin Wynne Jones (born 13 October 1995) is an Australian-born Welsh professional footballer who plays as a right back for League One club Bolton Wanderers. The 2022–23 EFL Trophy, known as the Papa Johns Trophy for sponsorship reasons, the 40th season in the history of the competition, is a knock-out tournament for clubs in EFL League One and League Two, the third and fourth tiers of the English football league system, as well as the " Academy teams" of 16 Premier League clubs with Category One status. The 2022–23 EFL Cup is the 63rd season of the EFL Cup (known as the Carabao Cup for sponsorship reasons).
