The 2022–23 Barrow A.F.C. season was the 122nd edition of the football club and the club's third consecutive season in League Two. Outside the league, they contested the 2022–23 FA Cup, the 2022–23 EFL Cup and the 2022–23 EFL Trophy. Four days later, a trip to Witton Albion was added to the schedule. A third away friendly fixture, against Holker Old Boys was also confirmed. Shortly followed by a fourth, against Ashton United. Connor Anton Brown (born 2 October 1991) is an English professional footballer who plays as a right back for National League North club Buxton. He has played in the Football League for Oldham Athletic and Carlisle United. Career Sheffield United Brown was born in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Robbie Gotts (born 9 November 1999) is an English professional footballer who plays for club Barrow, as a midfielder or right-back. Thomas Alan White (born 9 May 1997) is an English professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Barrow. Club career Gateshead After playing for a boys clubs with future Blackburn teammate Adam Armstrong and youth football for Carlisle United, he signed for Gateshead at the age of 18. His time with Gateshead was hindered by injury, and in 2016 the club initially withdrew their offer of a professional contract due to his injuries. Joshua Mark Lillis (born 24 June 1987) is an English professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Barrow. He began his career at Scunthorpe United in the League One and Championship.
