A booster dose is an extra administration of a vaccine after an earlier (primer) dose. After initial immunization, a booster provides a re-exposure to the immunizing antigen. It is intended to increase immunity against that antigen back to protective levels after memory against that antigen has declined through time. Michal Herzog ( he, מיכל הרצוג; born 15 May 1961) is an Israeli lawyer. Married to Isaac Herzog, the President of Israel since 2021, she is the First Lady of Israel. Early life Michal Afek was born in the Kibbutz Erin Harod. Her parents were Zvia (née Brin), a teacher from Afula, and , member of the Palmach and Colonel in the Israeli Defence Forces.
