2022 Wyoming Elections
The 2022 Wyoming elections took place on November 8, 2022. The Statewide Direct Primary Election were held on Aug 16, 2022. Wyoming voters elected Wyoming's seat to the United States House of Representatives, all of the seats of the Wyoming House of Representatives, all even-numbered seats of the Wyoming Senate, and the Governor of Wyoming and various statewide offices. United States Congress House of Representatives Incumbent Liz Cheney was criticized by former president Donald Trump and his supporters mainly for her vote to impeach him, as well as refusing to object to the certification of the electoral college results in the 2020 presidential election. Shortly after her impeachment vote, Trump and allies stated that they will work together to back and endorse a primary challenger to Cheney before the 2022 election. Wyoming House Of Representatives
The Wyoming House of Representatives is the lower house of the Wyoming State Legislature. There are 60 Representatives in the House, representing an equal number of single-member constituent districts across the state, each with a population of at least 9,000. The House convenes at the Wyoming State Capitol in Cheyenne. Members of the House serve two year terms without term limits. Term limits were declared unconstitutional by the Wyoming Supreme Court in 2004, overturning a decade-old law that had restricted Representatives to six terms (twelve years). Kristi Racines
Kristi Racines (born c. 1983) is an American politician from the state of Wyoming. She is the Wyoming State Auditor. Early life and career Racines was born in Casper, Wyoming, and raised in Riverton. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor's degree in accounting and Spanish. She is a certified public accountant and worked as the chief financial officer and director of human resources for the Wyoming Supreme Court Office of Court Administration, responsible for managing an $80 million budget. Wyoming State Auditor In the 2018 elections, Racines ran for Wyoming State Auditor. She defeated Nathan Winters in the primary election, and won the general election. She was sworn into office on January 7, 2019. Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA) is a national organization of local chapters which provide voluntary after-school programs for young people. Brian Schroeder, better known as Pushead, is an American graphic artist. He is best known for his album covers and other merchandise for bands in the hardcore punk and heavy metal genres.
