The 2022 West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament for the West Coast Conference (WCC) during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The tournament was held during March 3–8, 2022, at the Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada. Los Angeles-based University Credit Union was the title sponsor of the tournament for the fourth consecutive year. The winner of the tournament, the Gonzaga Bulldogs, received the conference's automatic bid to the 2022 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament. Venue For the 14th consecutive year, the 2022 WCC Tournament was held in the Orleans Arena. When Orleans Arena is set up for basketball games, the seating capacity is 7,471. Orleans Arena
Orleans Arena is a 9,500-seat multi-purpose arena in Paradise, Nevada, in the Las Vegas Valley. It is located at the Orleans Hotel and Casino and is operated by Coast Casinos, a subsidiary of Boyd Gaming Corporation. The arena is the home to the Vegas Rollers of World TeamTennis since 2019. 2021–22 Portland Pilots Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 Portland Pilots men's basketball team represented the University of Portland during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Pilots, led by first-year head coach Shantay Legans, played their home games at the Chiles Center as members of the West Coast Conference. The Pilots played in the inaugural 2022 The Basketball Classic tournament, and were eliminated in the quarterfinals. West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Tournament
The West Coast Conference men's basketball tournament is the annual concluding tournament for the NCAA college basketball in the West Coast Conference (WCC). The winner of the tournament each year is guaranteed a place in the NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament for that season. Through 2008, the tournament was played on a rotating basis at the home courts of member teams. The 2009 edition was the first played at a neutral site, namely Orleans Arena in Paradise, Nevada, just outside Las Vegas. The semifinals are broadcast nationally on ESPN2 and the championship is broadcast nationally on ESPN.
