2022 WTA 125 Tournaments
The WTA 125 tournaments are the secondary professional tennis circuit organised by the Women's Tennis Association. The 2022 calendar consists of twenty-four tournaments. Schedule Statistical information These tables present the number of singles (S) and doubles (D) titles won by each player and each nation during the season. The players/nations are sorted by: 1) total number of titles (a doubles title won by two players representing the same nation counts as only one win for the nation); 2) a singles > doubles hierarchy; 3) alphabetical order (by family names for players). Mayar Sherif Ahmed Abdel-Aziz ( ar, ميار شريف أحمد عبد العزيز; born 5 May 1996) is an Egyptian tennis player. She is the younger sister of Rana Sherif Ahmed. She has career-high WTA rankings of world No. 44 in singles, achieved on 18 July 2022, and No. 88 in doubles, reached on 11 July 2022. Claire Liu (born May 25, 2000) is an American tennis player. On 24th October 2022, she reached her career-high singles ranking of world No. 60. In 2017, she was the world No. 1 in the junior rankings, after winning the Wimbledon girls' singles title, and finishing runner-up at the French Open. Her biggest success she had in early 2015, reaching her first WTA Tour final in January, followed by a fourth round major event appearance at the Australian Open.
