2022 Udmurtia Head Election
The 2022 Udmurt Republic head election took place on 9–11 September 2022, on 2022 Russian regional elections, common election day, coinciding with elections to the 2022 Udmurtia State Council election, State Council of Udmurtia. Incumbent Head Aleksandr Brechalov was re-elected to a second term. Background In April 2017 Head of the Udmurt Republic, Head of Udmurtia Alexander Solovyov (politician), Aleksandr Solovyov was arrested for taking bribes. He was removed from office and replaced with Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation, Civic Chamber Secretary Alexander Brechalov.
