2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship Qualification
The 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifying competition was a men's under-17 football competition that determined the 15 teams joining the automatically qualified hosts Israel in the 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship final tournament. Players born on or after 1 January 2005 were eligible to participate. Apart from Israel as the host, the remaining 54 teams entered the qualifying competition, where the original format consisted of two rounds: Qualifying round, which took place in autumn of 2021, and Elite round, which took place in spring of 2022. Format The qualifying competition would originally consist of the following two rounds: *Qualifying round: Apart from Netherlands and Spain, which receive byes to the elite round as the teams with the highest seeding coefficient, the remaining 52 teams are drawn into 13 groups of four teams. The 2022 UEFA European Under-17 Championship (also known as UEFA Under-17 Euro 2022) was the 19th UEFA European Under-17 Championship (38th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe. Israel was hosting the tournament. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2005 eligible to participate. Netherlands, having won the title in 2018 and 2019, were the two-times title holders, since the 2020 and 2021 editions were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Europe and the title was not awarded. Dženan Pejčinović (born 15 February 2005) is a German professional footballer who plays as a forward for Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg. Club career Born in Munich to Bosniak parents from Plav, Pejčinović got into football from a young age as his father, Dževad, was also a footballer. 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship
The 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship (also known as 2018 UEFA Under-17 Euro) was the 17th edition of the UEFA European Under-17 Championship (36th edition if the Under-16 era is also included), the annual international youth football championship organised by UEFA for the men's under-17 national teams of Europe. England, which were selected by UEFA on 26 January 2015, hosted the tournament. A total of 16 teams played in the tournament, with players born on or after 1 January 2001 eligible to participate. Each match had a duration of 80 minutes, consisting of two halves of 40 minutes with a 15-minute half-time. Paola, Malta
Paola ( mt, Raħal Ġdid, it, Casal Nuovo, both meaning "New Town") is a town in the South Eastern Region of Malta, with 8,706 inhabitants as of 2019. Hibernians Stadium
Tony Bezzina Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Paola, Malta. The Hibernians football ground was inaugurated on 9 November 1986. Hibernians became the first Maltese club to have their own football pitch. Nonetheless, Hibernians play most of their league matches in the National Stadium, Ta' Qali, since nearly all the Maltese Premier League matches are played there.
