The 19th running of the Tour of Flanders for Women, a women's cycling race in Belgium, was held on 4 April 2021, serving as the 6th event of the 2021 UCI Women's World Tour. It was won in the sprint by the Belgian champion Lotte Kopecky ahead of Annemiek van Vleuten and Chantal van den Broek-Blaak. 2022 UCI Women's World Tour
The 2022 UCI Women's World Tour is a competition that includes twenty-five road cycling events throughout the 2022 women's cycling season. It is the seventh edition of the UCI Women's World Tour, the ranking system launched by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) in 2016. The competition will begin with Strade Bianche on 5 March, and finishes with the Tour de Romandie Féminin on 9 October. Events The race calendar for the 2022 season was announced in June 2021, with twenty-four races initially scheduled – up from eighteen that were held in 2021. Marlen Reusser (born 20 September 1991) is a Swiss bicycle racing, racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's Team, UCI Women's WorldTeam . Career She took up competitive cycling whilst at university, riding in the cycling legs of mixed relay triathlons as an amateur. Brodie Mai Chapman (born 9 April 1991) is an Australian road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam Trek-Segafredo. Cycling career Chapman competed in mountain bike events before transitioning to road racing. Katarzyna "Kasia" Niewiadoma (born 29 September 1994) is a Polish racing cyclist, who rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Among her wins are the Amstel Gold Race, the Trofeo Alfredo Binda and the stage race The Women's Tour. She is a former national champion in both the road race and time trial events. Grace Brown (born 7 July 1992) is an Australian road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Brown competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics. She just missed out on a medal in the women’s time trial, finishing fourth. She also competed in the women's road race where she came 47th. Career 2015-2018 seasons Brown started cycling in 2015 after previously being involved in running. She started 2018 riding for Holden Team Gusto Racing. Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig (born 23 August 1995) is a Danish professional road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Career As a junior, she competed at the 2012 UCI Road World Championships and the 2013 UCI Road World Championships. In the 2018 La Course by Le Tour de France she finished in 4th place, with her teammate Ashleigh Moolman taking the final podium place. She also took the mountains classification in this race.
