2022 Streamer Awards
The Streamer Awards is an awards show dedicated to live streamers. The Streamer Awards was founded in 2022 by Twitch streamer QTCinderella. History The inaugural ceremony, featuring 27 categories, was held on March 12, 2022, at The Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles and was broadcast live on Twitch. The event peaked at 381,436 concurrent viewers, making it the 45th highest concurrent viewership for a single broadcast in Twitch history. Event founder QTCinderella and Maya Higa served as the hosts. 2022 For the inaugural ceremony, nominees were selected via an online vote by fans. Winners were then determined using a weighted combination of the online popular vote (70%) and panelist vote (30%). Winners are listed first and in boldface. 2023 The second edition of the awards is scheduled to take place on March 11, 2023 at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Pepe the Frog () is an Internet meme consisting of a green anthropomorphic frog with a humanoid body. Pepe originated in a 2005 comic by Matt Furie called ''Boy's Club''. It became an Internet meme when its popularity steadily grew across Myspace, Gaia Online, and 4chan in 2008. By 2015, it had become one of the most popular memes used on 4chan and Tumblr. Different types of Pepe include "Sad Frog", "Smug Frog", "Angry Pepe", "Feels Frog", and "You will never..." Frog. Since 2014, 'rare Pepes' have been posted on the 'meme market' as if they were trading cards. Nicholas Kolcheff (born November 21, 1990), better known as Nickmercs (stylized in all caps), is an American Twitch streamer, YouTuber and co-owner of FaZe Clan who plays ''Fortnite Battle Royale'', '' Call of Duty: Warzone'' and ''Apex Legends''. Career Kolcheff is from Detroit, Michigan. He first built his name as a '' Gears of War'' professional in the late 2000s. He won the Gears of War 2 National Championship in 2009. The show started streaming partway through the cast's first campaign in March 2015.
