2022 Silverstone Formula 3 Round
The 2022 Silverstone Formula 3 round was a motor racing event held on 2 and 3 July 2022 at the Silverstone Circuit, Silverstone, United Kingdom. It was the fourth round of the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, and was held in support of the 2022 British Grand Prix. Driver changes Multiple driver changes took place for the fourth round at the Silverstone Circuit. On the weekend before the Silverstone round, Trident confirmed that Jonny Edgar would return to the series after missing the previous two rounds following Crohn's disease he sustained on early April 2022. Zdeněk Chovanec also returned to the championship after last competing at the 2021 Sochi Formula 3 round, driving for Charouz Racing System. Silverstone Circuit
Silverstone Circuit is a motor racing circuit in England, near the Northamptonshire villages of Towcester, Silverstone and Whittlebury. It is the home of the British Grand Prix, which it first hosted as the 1948 British Grand Prix. The 1950 British Grand Prix at Silverstone was the first race in the newly created World Championship of Drivers. The race rotated between Silverstone, Aintree and Brands Hatch from 1955 to 1986, but settled permanently at the Silverstone track in 1987. The circuit also hosts the British round of the MotoGP series. Trident Racing is a motor racing team that competes in single-seater formula racing. It was founded in 2006 in order to compete in the GP2 championship, which was Europe's second highest-ranking single-seater formula below Formula One. Caio Jotta Collet (born 3 April 2002) is a Brazilian racing driver who most recently competed in the FIA Formula 3 Championship for MP Motorsport. He is the 2018 French F4 Championship champion and a member of the Alpine Academy. Zane Maloney
Zane Maloney (born 2 October 2003) is a Barbadian racing driver. He was the 2019 British F4 champion and finished as runner-up in the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, racing for Trident. In December 2022, it was announced he was joining the Red Bull Junior Team and will be a reserve driver for the Red Bull team in 2023. Career Karting Maloney started racing in North America at the age of 12 and after multiple karting titles in Barbados and America he soon moved over to Europe to compete for Ricky Flynn Motorsport. 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship
The 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship was a motor racing championship for Formula 3 cars that was sanctioned by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA). The championship was the twelfth season of Formula 3 racing and the third season run under the guise of the FIA Formula 3 Championship, an open-wheel racing category that serves as the third tier of formula racing in the FIA Global Pathway. The category was run in support of selected rounds of the 2021 FIA Formula One World Championship. As the championship was a spec series, all teams and drivers that competed in the championship ran the same car, the Dallara F3 2019. Filip-Ioan Ugran (born 12 September 2002) is a Romanian race car driver who last competed in the 2022 European Le Mans Series for Algarve Pro Racing. He previously competed in the 2022 Euroformula Open Championship for Van Amersfoort Racing. 2021 Sochi Formula 3 Round
The 2021 Sochi Formula 3 round was the seventh and final race of the 2021 FIA Formula 3 Championship. It took place at the last Sochi Autodrom and featured three races from 24 to 26 September in support of the 2021 Russian Grand Prix. Dennis Hauger clinched the drivers' championship in the first race after a second-placed finish.
